Ramendra Sahoo

Prior to joining Teradata, Ram held many leadership and R&D roles including Director Risk Analytics, KPMG; Director Assurance, PwC; SVP/Analytics Director, Citigroup, Research Scientist, IBM Research. Ram holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science (Computation) from SUNY, Stony Brook; MBA from Cornell Johnson; an MS in Engineering from IIT Madras, and BE in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Durgapur. Ram has co-authored and filed 21 US patents (16 issued, the rest pending), 60+ publications & 30+ thought leadership articles in the area of predictive analytics, natural language processing, business analytics, systems integration, financial risk management and technology services improvement mechanisms. Ram is also a certified Lean Six Sigma black belt and FIRST® Coach and Mentor.
