Using a base instance representing approximately $70 per compute hour, each platform was allowed to scale as necessary to accomplish the test. Teradata performed the test at a cost just under $360. In this particular instance, for every dollar spent on Teradata, approximately $12 would need to be spent on Databricks to achieve the same workload.
